Back in 2006, a group of angry young comic book nerds started a podcast with the focus of highlighting which comics that released that week were the must-read books but as the show grew in popular, it expanded into a show about video games, movies, television, comics, and everything else in between. Just remember one thing: We don't talk. We argue!

September Offerings For Batman Arkham Knight Season Pass Delivers The Tumbler + Story Content

WB Games’ Batman Arkham Knight continues its relevancy with more DLC offerings from their season pass. Last month we found out about the legitimately cool 1989 skin along with new story content. Rocksteady is planning 4 separate DLC offerings for the month of September.

  • Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #1 (Sept. 1): Receive 6 AR challenges for Batman, Nightwing, Robin and Catwoman. This expansive challenge pack allows focused training in Freeflow Combat and Invisible Predator stealth incursion.
  • GCPD Lockdown (Later in Sept.): Set after the events of Arkham Knight, play as Nightwing to stop the Penguin from breaking out of the Gotham City Police Department in this thrilling story pack.
  • 2008 Tumbler Batmobile Pack (Later in Sept.): Inspired by the 2008 movieThe Dark Knight, intimidate your foes with the Tumbler Batmobile and race through two themed tracks.
  • Original Arkham Batman Skin (Later in Sept.): Fight the war against Gotham City with the original Arkham Asylum Batman costume.

Not terribly impressed by what I’m seeing for the month of September here. A challenge pack that only hardcores care about. A “story” mission that will probably play more like the Harley Quinn & Red Hood DLC packs than the Batgirl mission. A Tumbler skin which is nice but too similar to what the vanilla batmobile looks like and an original Arkham Asylum skin which is… interesting because how different can it be from the starting batsuit?

I’d love to hear impressions from Arkham Knight season pass owners.
