Check out the All-New ANTiFanboy Podcast
Back in 2006, a group of angry young comic book nerds started a podcast with the focus of highlighting which comics that released that week were the must-read books but as the show grew in popular, it expanded into a show about video games, movies, television, comics, and everything else in between. Just remember one thing: We don't talk. We argue!

X-Men: Apocalypse Drops A New Trailer

Fox is on a bit of a roll lately with these X-Men franchises, Days of Future Past was much better than I had ever expected and Deadpool will go down as the breakout hit of 2016. So how does another X-Men: Apocalypse trailer sound?

This trailer goes a little further in showing off the big bad Apocalypse’ origin and beats us over the head with “four horsemen” bible connections but other than that it’s a decent trailer. A lot more spectacle than plot, which for a trailer isn’t a death sentence.

I just don’t know how much I’m going to be able to stomach another Eric-Charles “frenemy” movie. We are re-introduced to some major players in the form of Jean Grey, Storm and Cyclops. The original X-films have a rocky relationship with any major characters not named Wolverine so this is a great opportunity for another “up at bat” with these guys.

The marketing is curious here as well as we are still seeing X-Men fighting other future X-Men but mutant on mutant violence isn’t anything new, but the focus is still on the big bad something that Captain America: Civil War and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice are not really all that interested in.

X-Men: Apocalypse hopes to dethrone Civil War by its release date on May 17, 2016
