I guess Wolverine is in this one
Which honestly? Is totally fine. Somewhere around Wolverine: Origins and X-Men: The Last Stand I‘ve realized that I don’t get as worked up over continuity and accuracy of the comics, at least not like I do with films of the MCU and DC Cinematic Universe. Maybe it’s because the films have been overall pretty good these last couple of years or maybe it’s because the stuff is so tangled that you just have to throw your hands up in the air.
Apocalypse can steal mutant powers, Mystique is the leader of the X-Men, Wolverine has his 5th(?) run in with Cyclops past and present, Quicksilver is Magneto’s kid (Not anymore). It’s all stuff that would normally make my brain melt with nerd-rage but I just can’t muster it. Probably because the movie will still be pretty good and I still have room in my heart to get hyped for Wolverine-on-solider violence.
