Adult Swim Games has slowly put together a nice catalog of titles including the well received Robot Unicorn Attack and the announced Rick and Morty Simulator: Virtual Rickality. Today we get Toejam and Earl: Back in the Groove.
The duo returns to earth in order to find parts to rebuild their ever broken ship, the Rapmaster Rocketship. Humannature Studios and Adult Swim describe the game:
“…a mash-up of the very best features from the classic console games, with a pile of new features thrown in.”
Last year the game was funded on Kickstarter and we are now seeing the fruits of backer’s labor.
The trailer is full of energy and has a retro style that seems to flow nicely with its modest budget.
