Back in 2006, a group of wide-eyed comic book geeks started a podcast with gear they were renting out from college. The podcast originally had a single-focus of comic book reviews but as the show grew in popular, it expanded into a podcast about games, movies, and everything else nerd-related.

The Film Forecast For The First Half Of 2017

2016 was rough for just about everyone. Somewhere somebody died or won or lost something important and overall we as a people, have decided that this year was hot garbage. You know what generally held up in the worst year in current memory? Entertainment. Sure the summer wasn’t the strongest, but we had some great stuff come out from the beginning to the end. The Revenant kicked off 2016 and we’ve had Civil to Star Wars, Jungle Books, Arrivals and much more. We’re hoping that 2017 is a fresh start for many things but the outlook for film looks pretty great as is.
