Fun Parts
- Alfred Vulcan Nerve Chopping Julia in the safe room and hunting down an intruder in the mansion
- A badguy is finally revealed (Pull out those Prediction Bingo Sheets)
Stupid Parts
- Carmine Falcone owns the toughest pants in the DC universe
- Julia complains about being locked up in the mansion for weeks even though she was partying at a club last we saw her (This happened before she was locked in a safe room)
Paraphrase of The Week
Batman: I don’t trust you. By the way, here’s a thumb drive that proves Gordon is innocent.
Bard: Thank you, I’m going to talk to myself later and crush it on purpose in my bare hand. I hope you didn’t put a microphone or anything in it.

Only badguys do monologues and crush things in their bare hands for dramatic effect. It’s not really a rule, more like a guideline.
Important Parts
- Bard makes out with Vicki a little and becomes Commissioner. By those rules Michael Keaton must also be a commissioner, right?
- Batman finds out people were invited to Gotham to wreak havoc before Jim was train blamed.
-
Falcone is on his way to being released to Hong Kong
- Alfred was pretty close to revealing to his daughter why he doesn’t suck as hard as she thinks he does, but the mansion is attacked by a masked man who injects Alfred with fear toxin
Minor Prediction
After Bard talks to his “”mother”” about the plan going well, he crushes the thumb drive. I think Batman put a microphone in it. Not a huge prediction, but I’ve got lonely bets ridding on this. Speaking of which…
BADGUY BARD. He frees Zachary Gate, the Architect, out of Blackgate and does minor classical badguy things. Maybe the twist is that he’s actually a good guy and all of these things just look bad from our perspective. I’m waiting for the score multiplier when we find out he’s alternate Earth James Gordon Jr. though.
Something To Note
Joker’s Daughter talks to her invisible “Daddy”, Bard talks to his “Mother” on the phone (Mother was in quotations in the dialogue, so not real mother, but still). Stephanie Brown’s dad is an asshole who’s trying to murder her. Selina’s probably dad has revealed that he’s not dead. There’s a decent number of parental elements in this series. Just something to think about.
