• Planting a seed about Batman’s minicaves in this and the last issue, then setting it off immediately, literally
• Jesus, Batwing got saved awfully fast, why not come back to him in a dozen issues? It’s not like Batman bothered to go see him when there was hints that he should visit Arkham, or even when Batwing was like “Batman help!”.  No mention of his arms either. He’s at home apparently. I guess his arms weren’t crushed by a giant boulder as much as they looked like they were

Paraphrase of The Week

Julia: Bruce, you haven’t been back to the cave in days, it’s kind of gross.

Bruce: It’s cool, I’ve got minicaves and places to change.

Julia: Oh, and I called Dr. Thompkins to look after my dad like you suggested.  Why you didn’t mention it issues ago is beyond me.

Batman: Wait, why is this window open on the Batcomputer about the location of all my cribs ?  Did you do that?  I didn’t do that! Hush must have done it between the time he broke into the mansion that one issue, and the following issue when he was in downtown Gotham killing dudes.

• Hush knows about all of Batman’s mini bases and he’s blowing them up, and maybe everyone knows about them thanks to Bard and Vicki

Cashing In Predictions

It took forever but they finally show Bard limping it up like a biscuit. So just when I could say maybe he’s not Hush, he meets up with Hush face to face.  Oh well.  There’s still time for Bard to be from Earth 3 or whatever

Remember that kind of foreshadowy ham-fist-esque seed they planted at the start of the series that I mentioned?:

Since Selina commented on Batman’s network in the city, and Red Robin went out of his way to mention his network is separate from Batman’s, I guess something bad happens to Batman’s network. (Foreshadowing level = MAXIMUM)

You need to space out the seeds you plant a little than a few issues when you have this many to work with, otherwise it just looks really obvious.
