Check out the All-New ANTiFanboy Podcast
Back in 2006, a group of angry young comic book nerds started a podcast with the focus of highlighting which comics that released that week were the must-read books but as the show grew in popular, it expanded into a show about video games, movies, television, comics, and everything else in between. Just remember one thing: We don't talk. We argue!

Fun Parts

  • Pretty much an homage to that scene in Batman Returns where The Penguin controls the batmobile, except its Jason Bard. He was not controlling it from a kid’s ride unfortunately
  • Story is rolling on high speed (haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa)

Stupid Parts

  • Starting with the exciting part, then flashing back, bad enough. Having the first page be the same moment as the very last page? Get the fuck out of here
  • Ok, we get it, Vicki is in Bard’s hometown to figure out his past, we don’t need the first line of her notebook to say “The Secret Life of Jason Bard”, we’re getting concussions from all the beatings over the head here

Paraphrase of The Week

Bard: Ya gotta admit, I’ve played this stinking city like a harp from hell!

Don't worry Batman, I'm sure my origin story will make all of my actions totally justified.

Don’t worry Batman, I’m sure my origin story will make all of my actions totally justified.

Important Parts

  • Lucius Fox is obligated to help the GCPD with Wayne Enterprises’ tech and use it against Batman
  • Hush is imprisoned in the batcave, they did not make his cell soundproof for some reason
  • Vicki is investigating Jason Bard’s past. Kiiinda makes you wonder why Batman didn’t do this, especially after he found out he was a badguy. The vague info we have is that a vigilante ruined Bard’s life, you know, basic villain creation
  • The GCPD have all of Batman’s R&D tech and took control of his batmobile, driving it off a bridge and through some buildings to his ultimate doom, which he seems to be escaping in the cover by the way
Best seat in the house, especially since the rest of the house is the new Arkham Asylum.
