Hello and welcome to today’s edition of Things That Happened The Week Of AKA the one where the worst parts of the internet can’t wait to act awful and racist.
I mean sort of… but probably. When news that Mary Jane Watson might be played by Disney Channel actress Zendaya the trolls already started rousing from their slumber but so far Disney and Sony has been mum on the subject.
In other less depressing news, Gamescom happened. You know, that event that covers video games all the way over in Germany? No it’s not E3 level, but that’s not to say a bunch of fun stuff didn’t come out of that this week. Konami announced Metal Gear Survive which looks to be about as cash-in-y as humanly possible and Blizzard drops another tear-jerker of an animated short in the form of Overwatch character Bastion. All that and the Titanfall 2 beta stress test dropped and BOY DO PEOPLE HATE IT.
