Back in 2006, a group of angry young comic book nerds started a podcast with the focus of highlighting which comics that released that week were the must-read books but as the show grew in popular, it expanded into a show about video games, movies, television, comics, and everything else in between. Just remember one thing: We don't talk. We argue!
Hello and welcome to the weekly edition of Things that happened the week of, where last week I asked the question, “Will Deadpool be good?” This week, we got our answer.
On top of that, we debuted two(!) new shows, ANTiFanboy Singlesand AFB Drive By. The former starring yours truly in a one-man show about notable things during the week and the latter being a fresh as can be take on a movie that any combination of us saw. I am very excited for you guys to experience both shows, seriously.
But back to why we’re here.
There was a ton of cool stuff that happened this week but most notably, Deadpool, Microsoft seemingly abandoning exclusives and Batman v Superman being, less than super. All that and more down below!
Quick Editors note, there will be no “Things that happened the week of” article next week due to me not being in the state for the entire week
